ABOUT
1901
The long history between the Lanzetti family and leather goods began in 1901 in Milan, where Emilio Lanzetti and his wife, who emigrated from Lake Maggiore, sold bags, fox skins, carpets and umbrellas in the shop in Corso Garibaldi.
1928 / 30
Grown up in the shop, the sons Eugenio and Giovanni started the production of handbags and wallets. After a brief period of peace and prosperity between the two wars, the Milan company was bombed and destroyed.
1950
Back in Lesa, the family's original town, the Lanzetti family open a new laboratory. The market restarts and in 1959 the LEXIAPEL leather goods industry was born.
1970
LEXIAPEL begins to export bringing the Made in Italy throughout Europe. The fashion is beautiful and revolutionary, the bright colors are in contrast with the darkness of the war, the shapes are particular.
1990
We are now passed on to the third generation: Eugenio follows the production, Andrea follows the style and the collection. Overseas exhibition begin and the company establishes itself with the LANZETTI brand on the Far East market.
TODAY
Tradition, experience, continuous research, but especially the desire to “make bags”: the Lanzetti family identify themselves in a craft niche production, distinguishing themselves from the mass production that invades the market.
